Hi and thanks for visiting my website.  I am a professional music teacher and performer with over 25 years of experience teaching in the public and private schools along with private lesson teaching experience.  I have taught in Kansas, Indiana, North Carolina and now in Las Vegas.  My Bachelor of Music is from DePauw University and I also hold a Master of Music Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro along with over 20 hours towards a Ph.d in Curriculum and Instruction.  Teaching has been a life long love of mine!

My orchestral experience includes the Wichita Symphony, the Terre Haute Symphony, the Greensboro Symphony, the Salisbury Symphony and the North Carolina Symphony.  I have also performed as a Reed Specialist with the High Point Music Theatre, the Broadway Music Series in Winston-Salem, NC, Music Theatre of Greensboro, along with many others.

Along with my studio of private piano and woodwind students, I am currently serving as a guest Master Class Clinician with the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts as well as with other local school music programs. 

I love music and that is why I chose to make a career of it.  ANYONE can make music whether you are 4, 40 or 84!  It is never too early or too late to start.  With my extensive teaching repertoire, I am able to tailor the instruction to meet your needs and your learning style.  I want you to love and enjoy music as much as I do!
