Hi and thanks for visiting my website. I am a professional music teacher and performer with over 30 years of experience teaching in the public and private schools along with private lesson teaching experience. I have taught in Kansas, Indiana, North Carolina and now in Las Vegas. My Bachelor of Music is from DePauw University and I also hold a Master of Music Degree from the University of Greensboro along with over 20 hours towards a Ph.d in Curriculum and Instruction. Teaching has been a life long love of mine!
My orchestral experience includes the Wichita Symphony, the Terre Haute Symphony, the Greensboro Symphony, the Salisbury Symphony, and the North Carolina Symphony. I have also performed as a Reed Specialist with the High Point Music Theatre, the Broadway Preview Music Series in Winston-Salem, NC, Music Theatre of Greensboro, along with many others.
In addition to my studio of private piano and woodwind students, I am currently serving Director of Band Programs for the Southern Nevada Homeschool Performing Arts.
